Can’t believe Chapel is already one! She had the sweetest Hungry Caterpillar birthday party. Here are some pictures!

Her mom made the cute tutu skirt! LOVE the stripe bloomers underneath.

Coming to the party?

Big sister, swinging (above), and dad checking the burgers :)

Yum!

I had a great time with Lara Grace & Patrick this last weekend. We were blessed with wonderful weather (photography wise — heavy overcast skies, but no rain!). There couldn’t be a more photogenic couple! These two are so much fun, and I know they are going to have a long, happy marriage with tons of laughter and smiles :)

Kendall had a blast yesterday playing in her own personal bubble bath. She didn’t want to wear her swimsuit (she’s so my child, the top was “too tight, too tight” — comfort winning out over fashion), so we put the swimsuit aside, and I just tied some scrap fabric around her top. Voila! I’m NOW BOOKING washtub photo shoots for babies 6 months (sitting up) up to about 2 years old…I have a washtub one size larger than the one shown that should fit little ones if there are young siblings (or buddies!). Email me at crystal@wilkerson.pro to book your time!

Over the last month or so, I have had the good luck of being able to photograph several babies in that precious, wonderful stage of being a “sitter, but not yet a walker.” There is just something special about the personality of little ones when they are so close to being able to crawl or walk anywhwere they want, but they are still content to sit still for long enough to have their photo taken. Here are some of my favorites of these babies (ages ranging from 6 months to 12 months):

This “baby net” is actually her mom’s wedding veil :)

After rescheduling due to the “fever bug” — Kendall finally had her birthday party on Saturday. Saint Patricks’ Day was the theme. Thanks to all our guests for a wonderful time. Before she fell asleep that night, we asked Kendall if she had a good time, and she let out a very drawn out “uh huuh” –- :) Enjoy the photos!

Outside the “Bubble Typhoon” was a BIG bubble hit with the kiddos :)

Time for the sweet stuff, compliments of Publix bakery, who gave me no trouble about moving my pick-up date forward a week :)

Snacks for the kids — layered goldfish, Lucky Charms and a celery stick. Yummy. A few “grown ups” grabbed one as well…

Pot ‘o Gold. Love the luck of the Irish.

Listening to the singing. Must say, we had the best rendition of Happy Birthday I’ve heard in a while. Sounded like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in my dining room (if you don’t have the MTC Christmas CD, it’s a must purchase).

Digging in. . .

Her tongue is still green from the icing!

Thank you Bo for this shot of me and the birthday girl!

Loving that wooden candle. :)

Cousins playing on their great great great grandfather’s piano…c. 1920s.

Brand new cowgirl boots from her sweet cousins!

“Where are all the bubbles???”

Ready to race across the yard.

“go go go go go”

That’s all folks! Had a great time. See you next year.
